Portnoy CPA is currently operating under normal tax season hours. It is our intent to safeguard the well-being of you and our team. With that in mind, we have initiated certain protocols during this time.
Changes to In-Person Meetings
For the time being, we will be transitioning all in-person meetings to Zoom video conferencing or phone calls. If you have scheduled an appointment, our team will contact you to set up a Zoom meeting or phone call. If you would like to schedule a meeting, please call our office.
Providing Portnoy CPA Information
If you need to provide information to us, it can be sent through Liscio, mail or dropped at either office. Specific instructions will be available at each location if you wish to drop off your information.
Delivery of Completed Tax Returns
Completed returns will be delivered through Liscio or by mail. There will be no pickup of returns at this time.
There is speculation the IRS will be providing relief for the April 15th deadline. President Trump and Steve Mnuchin, Treasury Secretary, are working with Congress to provide relief. Currently there has been no confirmed tax filing relief. Portnoy CPA is working towards the April 15th deadline as normal. If relief is granted, we will provide additional information.
Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns. We look forward to resuming normal operations.
Wishing you, your loved ones and friends continued health during this challenging time.
